PAT "KING" KOH JAZZ ENSEMBLE at The Dragon Upstairs (9/26/2015)
It's all worth it once you make it up the long flight of steps at the Dragon Upstairs. Something about the deco of this place that's edgy and relaxing all at the same time. Combined with good music and you've arrived to a very special place in downtown Chinatown. Tonight it's the PAT 'KING' KOH JAZZ ENSEMBLE playing Jazz Standards from the American Song Book. We enjoy hearing this band and listening to Pat's voice. Mahalo guys! Till next time---Don't Stop The Music!

Ige's 19th Puka Flashback Fridays Reunion #1 at the Manoa Grand Ballroom (6/12/2015)
The Restaurant may have closed in 2014, but the 'Spirit of the 19th Puka' Lives On! JonT Media Hawaii was happy to be a part of this Ige's 19th Puka Flashback Fridays Reunion #1. Tickets to this event sold out in less than 2 hours. These 4 bands were the original bands that started Flashback Fridays at Ige's Restaurant - King Pins, Royal Kunia Street, Band, Shinning Star, and Funkshun. Dance floor attendance included parties from Hawaii 72, Pearl City High School, Waipahu High School, Aiea High School, Farrington High School, Costco and countless fans of Ige's Restaurant. In addition to the Manoa Grand Ballroom (Marian's Catering) menu, there were special dishes from Ige's Kitchen - Shoyu Pork, Nishime and Andagi. Yummy! Even Tiny Tadani made a special appearance to MC along side the host, Ron Ige. Truly another magical night to remember. Special Mahalo to Ron Ige and his team for making this all possible. Is there a Hana Hou? Not sure, but if there is one JonT Media Hawai will be the first to know, so stay tuned. Till then - Keep Smiling & Don't Stop The Music!

Mantra @ Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu (5/22/2015)
MANTRA
The last time we visited with this band their drummer could not make it as he was traveling. Some guy in the audience stepped in to help them out but we knew it was not the same. We just had to return to catch the the entire band. Tonight was that night and we were not disappointed.
