Here is some background information from bass player/leader/manager George Furukawa:
Fusion, a Top 40 variety cover band, was formed in April 2005 by bass player/leader/manager George Furukawa. The band has evolved into its current blend of musicians. Fusion is a vocally- driven band with roots in diverse musical influences from classic rock to contemporary R&B/ rock/pop.
